Our worth is not based on circumstance but in our shared humanity.

Virtual conference, volunteer opportunities, and torture survivor fund

Slow news week this week, but stay tuned for more events this fall.

ICDI Gala opportunities, both at-home and in-person

  • virtual opportunity: Phone banking for the upcoming ICDI Gala.
  • September 25: In-Person opportunity
    • The gala will be held on Sunday, September 25 from 11am to 2pm at Drury Lane (100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181).
    • Volunteers will sell raffle tickets during our GALA.
    • Volunteers will do a virtual training, and use their own laptop during the event.
    • Free attendance to GALA will be given to volunteers selling raffle tickets.

If you're interested in either opportunity, email [email protected] and tell them we sent you. Training will be provided.

If you're planning on going to the gala (as an attendee or volunteer) let us know so we can meet up and hang out--maybe even carpool.

Rehumanize International Conference will be virtual on October 15

Rehumanize International is meeting virtual again this year via Hopin on October 15. Consider applying to be a speaker or buy your ticket for the virtual event.

Learn more about the conference.

Send us your events!

Have an event you think we should co-sponsor or even just attend? We're open to collaborating with organizations working against legalized or normalized violence.
